Minnie was chosen as the ambassador for the #LaysUnited11 campaign. The idea behind this campaign was to get Minnie to recruit 10 people to join her on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Istanbul to watch the UEFA Champions League Final.
This shoot was for us to capture pre-campaign hype content for social media. This was achieved by getting Minnie to perform impressive football tricks on the beach – impressive even by a professional footballer’s standards. The catch was that all her skills were actually done in post-production. This was later revealed to the audience when the campaign was launched.
